a. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password, and language preferences.

b. Voice and Speech Data

When you use Qol’s speech or pronunciation features, we collect and process audio input and related metadata (e.g., pronunciation accuracy scores). Audio is processed via OpenAI for speech recognition and response generation, and stored securely in Supabase for your learning progress tracking.

c. Usage Data

We collect information about how you use Qol, including interactions, conversation duration, device information, browser type, and app performance metrics.

d. Payment Data

When you subscribe, payment information (e.g., card details) is processed by Stripe, our secure payment partner. Qol does not store your full payment information.

e. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics, authentication, and personalization. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Qol experience,

Deliver personalized speech feedback and progress tracking,

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and progress data for as long as your account remains active.
Voice and pronunciation data are stored only as long as necessary to provide feedback and improve your learning experience.

6. Data Security

We use encryption, secure servers, and industry-standard best practices to protect your information. However, no online system is 100% secure. You use Qol at your own risk.

7. Your Rights

Request data portability.
